As VP of Corporate Strategy for Traxis Financial Group (TFG), Doug Lee
is responsible for identifying and improving financial structure solutions
for TFG's leasing and floor plan customers. Through his varied experience
in both the finance and operating areas of finance companies and asset
management institutions, Mr. Lee brings a unique perspective in delivering
needs-based financial solutions that are both as customer-friendly and
operationally efficient as possible.
Prior to joining Traxis Financial Group, Mr. Lee was the Director of
Portfolio Control at Plainfield Asset Management, a privately owned hedge
fund based in Greenwich, CT, where he coordinated the firm's Treasury
and SEC compliance functions. Previously, Mr. Lee headed the capital markets
risk and compliance efforts for Orbian Corporation, a specialty commercial
finance company in Norwalk, CT. As Capital Markets Director (2005-2007),
he was responsible for capital markets due diligence, market risk management,
funding program compliance, and investor relations/reporting.
From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Lee worked at AIG-American General Finance in
various Treasury functions, where he was responsible for the company's
debt issuance, derivatives and portfolio pricing activities. In addition,
Mr. Lee has also held financial and operating positions at Putnam Investments
and JP Morgan Chase. Mr. Lee, a Chartered Financial Analyst, received
an A.B. in 1993 from the College of the Holy Cross and an M.B.A. in 2002
from Boston University.
