Allan Silver brings to the Traxis Financial Group and its financial service affiliates extensive commercial and legal expertise. In his role as the President, Mr. Silver is responsible for leading the development and implementation of all strategic initiatives for the Traxis Financial Group, including new financial products, services and innovative transaction structures to reduce finance costs and better serve the needs of our customers.

Mr. Silver possesses nearly two decades of law firm and in-house experience leading teams of lawyers and finance professionals in the structuring, negotiation, documentation and successful closing of a wide variety of sophisticated corporate and financing transactions. His background includes domestic and cross-border secured lending, asset-backed finance, project finance, commodities finance, highly-leveraged transactions, bank and capital markets finance, project investments, mergers and acquisitions, and workouts and restructurings.

Prior to joining the Traxis Financial Group, Mr. Silver was most recently the General Counsel of Orbian Corporation, a commercial finance company using the capital markets and institutional investors to finance accounts receivable, inventory and other current assets. Before his tenure at Orbian, Mr. Silver held senior positions at full-service global law firms Bingham McCutchen LLP and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCoy LLP, as well as in-house legal positions at Document Development Corporation and West LB.

Preceding his legal career, Mr. Silver worked as an account executive in the commercial financing and factoring industry.

Mr. Silver earned an M.B.A. in Finance, with distinction, from New York University, and a J.D. from Fordham University. He is qualified to practice law in New York State only.
